Our pit walling is a modular kit of lightweight foam-cored panels, built here at VMEP in Bidford-on-Avon and sized to the garage bay you've actually got, with the shelving, tool box areas and TV mounts built into the panels rather than bolted on after.

Panelling for two bays of about 6 x 9m, rear shelving each side, two tool box areas, four TVs on the side walling and a centre console with two more, in two flight cases. £16,495 ex VAT.
The branded working front on its own: 20mm board, quarter-turn latched with radius extrusion at the corners, stainless on the facing edges, wiring pass-throughs in the top shelf and the rear, 1440L x 650D x 1200H mm, supplied in a foam-routed case. £1,650 ex VAT.

A VMEP kit with LED lighting has the modular wall panels for your bay, rear shelving, tool box areas, TVs set into the panels, LED lighting built into the layout, and the flight cases to move it all in. Panels, shelving, tool box areas, TVs, quarter-turn fasteners and levelling feet come as standard in Kit A and Kit B. LED lighting, helmet shelving, an overhead gantry and vinyl graphics are specified per kit when we lay the system out for your garage, so where the lighting sits and how it's powered is agreed from your dimensions and power access before any panel is cut.
Measure the bay, not the car. Kit A is built around a bay of about 5.5 x 4m, which is a typical single-car club garage with room to work down both sides. Kit B covers two bays at about 6 x 9m. Anything narrower, deeper or an odd shape is a custom layout rather than a compromise: send the dimensions and we'll lay it out to fit.
VMEP's prices are published: the pit walling desk is £1,650 ex VAT, Kit A for a single-car garage is £9,895 and Kit B for a double is £16,495, with the transport flight cases included in each kit price. Custom layouts are quoted per job.
Yes. The desk at £1,650 ex VAT gives you the branded working front and the cable management without enclosing the bay, and it's where most one-car club teams start. Panels can be added later. The system is modular, so a desk now doesn't rule out a full enclosure next season.
Each panel is foam-cored with a frame made into the perimeter so every edge is sealed. They fix with quarter-turn fasteners from the rear and every panel gets levelling feet, so one panel can come out without dismantling the run and the wall stands straight on a floor that isn't. Helmet shelving, LED lighting, TVs and an overhead gantry can all be built in.
Every kit comes in purpose-built flight cases, with divisions to protect each board and separate storage for the corner extrusion and levelling feet. The cases are in the kit price.
