Entry for the 2020 seasons competition has now closed with all stages currently taking place. The competition will be run again for the 2022 season, throughout the 2021 season.

The Clubman's Sports Prototype series has been running for over 50 years, competing at all of the top circuits across the UK and regularly posting the quickest lap times at the meetings.
They're lightweight, slicks and wings sports cars which provide the perfect entry level into sports car racing or as a step out of karting. Running three classes, CSP1, CSP2 and CSP3. The competition is for a fully funded seasons racing in the CSP2 class in a Phantom.
The CSP2 class is for 1600cc sealed Rover K Series engines, with 4 speed gearboxes. Further details can be seen via the series website at .
The prize includes the following:
Arrive & drive use of our Phantom CSP2 class car
All race entry fees
Friday test day entry fees prior to each event
2 preseason test / track days, fees and arrive & drive use of our car
All race car fuel
Slick / wet tyres to cover the season
Insurance at each event
3 x simulator days preseason to learn circuits
1 x simulator day prior to each race weekend / test to learn circuits
Hospitality / catering at events
BARC and Clubmans membership fees
The competition will be divided into three stages:
Simulator session - up to 1 hours practice on a selected circuit followed by a 10 lap evaluation
Simulator session - 30 minutes practice followed by a 5 lap evaluation / feedback after a set up change
Karting session - 2 x 20 minute sessions or similar with on track evaluation at Team Sport Karting
The competition is not a knock out basis, all competition entries will compete in all stages listed and the simulator sessions will all be using the same car and circuit combination announced on the day.
The competition is open to novices and race license holders with a minimum age of 15 years old. It's awarded on a points basis - the highest points total wins. In the event of a tie break, a final simulator session will be run.
Each evaluation is divided into categories which are closely related, consistency vs a set time, lines and placement and speed. Points are deducted for spins or accidents.
Karting sessions will run from September 2021 and simulator sessions from October 2021. All points score sheets will be provided to each entrant at a later date electronically following the event.
